Three people’s lives have been cut short in a tragic single-car accident in Arizona. Meanwhile, two other people suffered critical injuries in the rollover crash. Sometimes, these types of car accidents happen as a result of a person’s negligence, which is grounds for litigation.
The recent accident occurred on a Thursday at about 1:09 a.m. in the vicinity of Interstate 17. Police said that the car was speeding and suddenly hit a raised median. This reportedly caused the driver to lose control of the car and drive off the road, where the car crashed into a light post.
Authorities said they removed five people who were trapped in the car as a result of the collision. Three of them were transported to the hospital, with one later dying there. Meanwhile, two people passed away at the crash scene. The parties who died in the accident were ages 18, 23 and 19, and the two individuals who were injured were ages 18 and 19.
The passengers who were injured in the Arizona collision have the right to file personal injury claims against the driver or against the driver’s estate if the driver was one of the three people who passed away in the collision. Likewise, the loved ones of any of the passengers who died in the crash may file wrongful death claims in the wake of the accident.
