PHOENIX — The family of a Maricopa County Superior Court judge fatally hit by a car last year has filed a lawsuit against Grubhub, claiming the driver was completing an order for the company at the time of the deadly crash.
Judge Rosa Mroz, who presided over cases in the court’s criminal division, sustained severe injuries on the morning of Feb. 2, 2022 after she was hit by a vehicle while walking along a marked crosswalk near 56th Street and Camelback Road. Mroz succumbed to her injuries a couple of days later.
