In Nebraska, a cosmetic surgeon is facing several medical malpractice lawsuits. Patients allege that the physician has caused them physical harm after improper care. One woman went to the surgeon in question seeking a tummy tuck. According to her, the surgical incisions did not heal correctly, and she now claims that his negligence caused her to have significant scarring as well as a great deal of pain. Other patients allege that they experienced similar outcomes, including disfigurement and painful scars,
There are currently 35 outstanding cases of medical malpractice against this surgeon, including nine that were only added recently. A hearing that happened within the last few weeks sought to consolidate all of the cases into one trial. The plan is that a handful of victims will testify, representing all of the cases involved.
Though this happened out of state, Arizona residents can still learn a great deal from the case. If they or someone they love is unfortunate enough to experience medical malpractice, they may decide to take legal action, which could result in monetary compensation. The hope is that no one will have to suffer at the hands of a negligent medical professional, but if the worst should occur, patients should rest assured that they can move on from physical and emotional injury.
